Mahboub Baccouch (b. February 1, 1979) is an assistant professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

He received a B.S. in engineering (2004) and an M.S. in engineering mathematics (2005) from Tunisia Polytechnic School. In 2005, he received another M.S. in mathematics from Virginia Tech. His Ph.D. studies (2004 - 2008, Virginia Tech) have been focused on numerical analysis, scientific computing, and partial differential equations.

Baccouch is interested in a range of areas in applied mathematics, most recently he has been researching the design and implementation of high-order discontinuous Galerkin methods for partial differential equations.
