Policy Document on Promotion of Research
Research develops new knowledge, techniques, and technologies. Especially developing countries should go for research as it entails the benefits of employment and enhanced economic activity. Research leads to exploration, description and explanation. Innovation enables growth
NAAC claims Research to be an ongoing process of enhancing the existing fund of knowledge by exploring new frontiers that challenge the human quest for understanding reality. It wants quality of research to become the center of academic, professional, and higher education. Unfortunately, only PG Centers are permitted to have Research centers. So far, the parent university selected six members from our institution as Research Supervisors, out of which one person passed away and two retired. The three Research Supervisors have their own policy.
