History

Department of Mathematics was established in 1957 with PUC. In 1959, B. Sc. Course with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry combination was started.
B. A. Course with Mathematics combination was started in 1965.
The faculty of the department is actively involved in research and in writing text books.

The Department of Mathematics has well equipped infrastructure.
